Presenter: Martine Helou-Allen, Founder and Executive Director of RIZE Prevention

Topic: Change the Conversation. Change the Outcome.

Perception is reality and therefore carries power! The way we see things determines the language we use and the overall approach we take addressing these issues as individuals, families and communities. The way messages are framed determines if AND how they are received. RIZE Prevention’s approach to prevention is built on reframing how to address substance misuse and addiction within our communities. In doing so we change societal perspectives on substance use disorder, reduce shame and strengthen communities.
