Helpline

The FAVOR Helpline serves those dealing with substance use disorder by connecting them with a real, compassionate, and non-judgmental Recovery Specialist who can answer questions and provide resources. The Helpline is confidential and is offered at no-cost.

For immediate help, call 864-430-1802 between 7:00am and 11:00pm every day of the week.

Healthcare Settings

Most people who need help for a substance use disorder don’t reach out. Often, a critical incident forces them to need medical help, such as an overdose or an injury. FAVOR seizes these opportunities to start the recovery process on the spot, with immediate support to help individuals take the first steps on their road to recovery.

Assertive Community Engagement (ACE)
ACE Recovery Specialists serve participants experiencing significant barriers to recovery and low social determinants of health across the Upstate. From hospitals, to jails, to unhoused individuals, our ACE Team works tirelessly to engage people in recovery support regardless of the obstacles.

Screening, Brief Intervention, Referral to Treatment (SBIRT)
SBIRT Recovery Specialists provide intense bedside engagement to those experiencing substance use disorder and will refer individuals to direct support services as needed.

Hospitals Served:

  • AnMed, Anderson
  • Bon Secours St. Francis Greenville: Downtown, Eastside, and Simpsonville
  • Prisma Health: Baptist Easley, Greer, Hillcrest, Laurens, Magdalene Clinic, Memorial, and Oconee
  • Prisma Addiction Medicine Center

Community Outreach

Many Upstate communities are “recovery deserts.” FAVOR embeds Recovery Specialists throughout partner locations to provide one-on-one training sessions, free Narcan for overdose reversal, and testing for HIV and Hep-C. Testing and referrals are also offered at various community sites, so we can help people in need throughout the Upstate.

For more information about HIV/HCV testing, contact FAVOR directly at 864-905-2013.
